William Silva is a scientist and molecular biologist with 10 years of experience working in the field of microRNAs and exploring its ability to orchestrate the gene activity and therapeutic potential. Prior to founding Mirscience tx, was a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences from University of Sao Paulo where he also completed his PhD with an exchange program at the Boston Children`s hospital from Harvard Medical School. Throughout his academic career, his work was focused on the role of microRNAs in the skeletal muscle development, plasticity and disease.
