Milena Pelegrino is an experienced researcher with a strong background in nanoparticles and drug delivery in health care. She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a master’s and Ph.D. degrees in nanomedicine with an exchange program at Edinburgh University, UK. Currently, she is working as the Director of Drug Delivery at Mirscience Tx. Throughout her career, she has focused on polymer and lipid nanoparticles as platforms for the safe and specific delivery of drugs and small molecules to a target organ.
